Based on a tall tale written by Mark Twain, the Calaveras County Jumping Frog Jubilee each May invites you to bring your best jumper and compete for the annual honors in Angels Camp. It’s an awesome place where there’s a frog walk of fame honoring the best jumper from each year’s contest which takes place at the Calaveras County Fair. This year it is held May 15-18, 2014.

It’s a bonus weekend as the Big Bug Fair comes to Los Angeles Natural History Museum on May 17 & 18.  And at the Folsom Zoo, on May 17, it’s time to Growl, Howl & Wine. See FolsomZooFriends.org
