A film festival where you can bring your cat? You bet! No dogs allowed.

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The LA Feline Film Festival on Sept. 21, 2014 in Exposition Park features cats that have gone viral, including two special appearances felines. Kern County cat, Tara (right photo), became a hero for rescuing young Jeremy Triantafilo from a vicious dog attack which was filmed with a surveillance camera and shown to a fascinated nation on news stations, then on the Internet.  Lil Bub (left photo), a cat with no teeth, frozen in a perpetual state of stunted growth as a perma-kitten dwarf, and facing handicaps, is considered one of nature’s happy accidents. The kitty was hard to place into a home but now lives with a loving owner willing to adopt what some consider a freak of nature.  The unique festival is one of the few dog-free zones where cats can go. People are welcome, too!  See lafelinefilmfestival.com

Other unique film festivals coming up include Twain Harte Film Fest, Italian, Jewish, Greek, Japanese, Asian,  plus many horror themed festivals and screening for Halloween!
