Everything — even big feet and bunions —  seem bigger in the mysterious redwood forests of Northern California, land of the giants. This Labor Day Weekend two legends, Paul Bunyan and Bigfoot, are celebrated with parades and festivities paying homage to 7-foot tall lumberjack Paul Bunyan and the 7 to 10-foot tall Bigfoot.  Paul Bunyan Days in Fort Bragg held Sept. 4-7, 2015 includes burley, bearded celebrity guest with a giant axe locals know as “Paul”.  180 miles up US 101 Hwy  in Willow Creek the Grand marshal of Bigfoot Days Parade on September 5 waves to the crowd often heard yelling his name, “Sasquatch”.
