Celebrate L.A.’s birthday this weekend on August 29, 2015 with several special events. The first event is a Walk & Bike from Mission San Gabriel (428 S. Mission Drive) to El Pueblo (424 N. Main St.) The journey is a whopping 9 miles! Later in the day the Los Angeles Archdiocese will celebrate Los Angeles’ 234th birthday with a Grand Marian Procession to the Our Lady Queen of Angels Church ‘La Placita’ on Olvera Street.
