Marathon Fun from Rain to Sun

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF. — The 8 Mile Mark of the Surf City Marathon (produced by MotivRunning) was a bit soggy on Super Bowl Sunday but didn’t dampen enthusiasm among participants and volunteers.
Photos show Edwards Hill & Edwards Street. At the top of the hill near the oil fields runners and cyclists kept pumping, just like the pumpjack at Brindle–Thomas oil field. The rain or shine event was one of dozens of running challenges taking place before the Super Bowl game in Atlanta where LA Rams hoped to win.
