In California we have ski season, beach season, outdoor concert season and fair season — a personal favorite. The fair is everything in one place — outrageous foods (such as Deep-fried Butter on a Stick,) animal shows, carnival craziness, concerts and expos where you can check out beds, buy beers and order custom car-license frames for the one you love.
