Palm Springs Modernism Week Feb. 11-21, 2016 includes more than 220 free to ticketed events such as Premier Double Decker Architectural Bus Tour offering an overview of significant Desert Spanish and Midcentury Modern civic, commercial and residential properties. From the exclusive Villa Paradiso Estate, to Frey House II perched on a mountainside, passengers gain a better understanding of the historical richness and architectural diversity in a city known for stars — and their homes. Dive in and test the waters at one of the world’s premier architectural festivals filled with star parties, tours, a world-class lecture & film series, Palm Springs Walk of Stars dedication, fashion, classic cars, garden tours, a vintage travel trailer exhibition and Modernism Show & Sale at the Palm Springs Convention Center (Feb. 12-15). It features 85 premier national and international dealers offering furniture, decorative and fine arts representing all design movements of the 20th century.
