Morgan Hill Freedom Fest
Morgan Hill Freedom Fest honors America and the nation’s military heroes. The week long celebration launches on June 28 with a Bicycle Classic with distance rides, including a 100-mile bike ride. On July 3 the Music Fest takes place with concerts and the “Patriotic Sing” featuring America’s favorite patriotic tunes sung by children. On Independence Day (July 4) the annual 4th of July Parade themed “Destination America”, showcases what’s considered the best home town 4th of July parade in Northern California. Started in 1876 as the nation celebrated its first centennial, the annual Freedom Parade has run uninterrupted ever since. Following the parade is an afternoon of concerts, picnics, and the big Fireworks on the Green, the largest fireworks show ever produced in Morgan Hill.
