Morgan Hill 4th of July Freedom Festival is an annual event in Downtown Morgan Hill.
4th of July Parade July 4, 2019, 10 a.m.
Route: Begins on Monterey Street at 4th, to W. Main turning left, proceed on Main Street and turn left on Peak Street, turn left on W. Dunne Ave., finishes near the starting point on Monterey Street.
The parade includes marching bands, drill teams, equestrian units, civic groups, patriotic floats and so much more!
Car Cruise July 4, 9:30 a.m.
Half an hour before the parade the car cruise gets the crowd jazzed when it proceeds on the parade route.
Fun Run 5K / 1K Run July 4
Begins 1 hour before parade
Patriotic Sing July 3, 6-7 p.m.
Morgan Hill Downtown Amphitheater Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Rd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037
Community kids who attend required rehearsals are invited to be part of the concert presented to the community.
Music Fest July 3, 7-10 p.m. (or 8-11 p.m.)
After the Patriotic Sing from 6 to 7 p.m., the street dance with live bands takes place Downtown.
4th of July Fireworks July 4, 5-10 p.m.
Fireworks on The Green will once again be at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center, 16500 Condit Road, located between Tennant and E. Dunne Avenues. Gates will open at 5 p.m. so you can come on in and set up a good viewing spot for the fireworks, which will begin around 9:30 p.m.
Old fashioned pie eating and diaper derby contest, encore performance from the schoolchildren who participated in the Patriotic Sing if you missed that the night before, and live entertainment all lead up to the big fireworks display.
Access from all entry streets closes at 9 p.m. The entire Fireworks extravaganza and entertainment is brought to you at no cost to attendees. Please consider helping us with the show by making a contribution to our donation boxes or one of our IDC Volunteers as you enjoy the show.
