City fireworks  originate from Monument Point at Heisler Park. For this reason, the Monument Point area will be closed all day on the 4th of July. Beginning at approximately 12pm, the area of Heisler Park from the Rock Bench at Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public to allow for fireworks preparation. The City fireworks show will begin at approximately 9pm. Arrive early for parking and hop on the free trolley. Please note: the free trolley will have limited service, running 9:30am-7pm. Laguna Art-A-Fair and Sawdust Art & Craft Festival will also have limited hours until 6pm on this day.

REDDING: Freedom Festival July 4th, 5-10 p.m. Commemorates our nation's birthday with food vendors, games, live entertainment, and the largest Fireworks display in Northern California! Admission is free, but come early to secure a seat and enjoy the festivities. Food and beverage vendors will open at 5 p.m. The Fireworks show will begin at 10 p.m. The access points to the Sacramento River Trail leading to the Sundial Bridge close around 5 p.m., and the Sundial Bridge also closes for safety of the Fireworks discharge.

SAUSALITO: Fourth of July Parade & Festivities July 4th, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. A parade of floats, bands, classic cars starts at Second and Main Street at 10 a.m. Route:  Second & Main Street down Bridgeway to Caledonia and ends at Caledonia and Bee Street.  Following parade at 12 p.m. Dunphy Park Picnic with Food, dancing, family games, tug-of-war and the famous egg toss.  Fireworks Show 6-9 p.m. at Gabrielson Park. Fireworks 9 p.m.

SCOTTS VALLEY: 4th of July Parade July 4th, 3 p.m.  Festival & Fireworks Show at Skypark. Gates open at 3 p.m. Petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house. Concerts by Ribsys Nickel and Joint Chiefs. Fireworks at 9:15 p.m. $6-8 admission,

SEAL BEACH: Band on the Sand 4th of July   Fireworks, food trucks and more.  Free,

SOLVANG: Solvang Independence Day Festival and Fireworks 2-10 p.m.   Gates open at 2 p.m. Cost: $10 Adults. Held at the Old Mission Santa Ines. Solvang Independence Day Festival features food & craft booths, wine & beer garden, kids  activities including bounce castle, face-painting and live entertainment  beginning at 5 p.m.

SONOMA: 4th of July on the Plaza Parade. 10 a.m. Winds around the historic Plaza. 60+ entries. After the parade, enjoy an old-fashioned festival with food, drink and game booths. At dusk above General Vallejo's field for the spectacular Fireworks show that lasts approximately 45 minutes.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE: 4th of July Parade July 4th, 10 a.m.
The City of South Lake Tahoe 4th of July Parade Route: Staging at Ski Run Blvd., parade heads west on Highway 50 to Al Tahoe Blvd. ending at Bijou Community Park. 
After Party at the American Legion Post 795 located at 2748 Lake Tahoe Blvd. featuring BBQ hot dogs and hamburgers, music, and a beer garden. Guests can view floats and chip in with proceeds benefiting the club.

TUSTIN: July Fourth Celebration July 4th, 6:30-9:30 p.m.  Event begins at 6:30 p.m., Fireworks at 9 p.m.  Tustin High School (THS) Stadium 1171 El Camino Real, Tustin 92780 Pack a picnic and blanket or come early for a seat in the bleachers. UPLAND: 4th of July Parade Celebration July 4th

VALLEJO: 4th of July Parade July 4th, 10 a.m.  Route begins at Broadway and Tennessee, then turns left on Sonoma Blvd, then right on Georgia through downtown where it ends at Mare Island Way. Grand Marshal is Kenny Ross & Family.  Held for 165 years, this is a must-see parade with patriotism and pride throughout the entire route.
