Pageant of the Masters

Where Art Comes to Life, celebrates its 90th year in 2023. The 90-minute performance is set under the starry-summer night sky, with a full orchestra performing original music, live narration, breathtaking theatrical illusions, and many special effects and surprises.

A Pageant ticket entitles you to free unlimited admission to the Festival of Arts grounds all summer long to enjoy original artwork by 140 of Southern Orange County's finest artists, art classes, musical entertainment, special art events, dining at Gina's Alfresco and so much more.

2023: Art Colony - in the Company of Artists, Some artwork re-created:

• Alone and Together (Under the Freeway) by Chicano artist David Botello,
• Lift Every Voice and Sing by African American sculptor Augusta Savage 
• Native American paintings by Bert Geer Phillips.

 Pageant nightly stage production includes:

• 90 minutes of tableaux vivants or living pictures
• faithful re-creations of classical and contemporary works of art
• real people posing to look exactly like the subjects in original pieces
• live narrator guide through the story of each living picture
• accompanied by professional orchestra music
• field glasses for rent

Festival of Arts Fine Art Show takes place on the grounds of the venue, just beyond a gated entry where tickets must be purchased for admission. The festival is one of three such festivals across the street and within walking distance of each other,  inviting the public to browse the galleries and purchase artwork from artists.

Festival of Arts is a juried fine art show featuring 140 of Southern Orange County's top artists in an open-air gallery setting. A world-renowned art destination, visitors can take tours of the exhibit, catch an art demonstration, dine at one of the on-site restaurants, create their own masterpiece, or simply sit back and enjoy the creative atmosphere. There are even daily art classes for kids!

The juried art show features  paintings, photography, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, handcrafted wood and furniture, ceramics, glass and more. Many exhibiting artists enjoy major sales to art collectors, interior designers, and first-time art buyers.

 Weekends are jam-packed with Concerts on the Green live music and special events Art, Jazz, Wine, and Chocolate, Festival Runway Fashion Show, art workshops and daily activities that the whole family can enjoy.

The Festival of Arts is a non-profit organization that produces The Festival of Arts – California's Premier Fine Art Show and the Pageant of the Masters. Proceeds support the arts in Orange County.

The Pageant of the Masters is arguably one of the most unique productions in the entire world. Audiences are amazed and enchanted by ninety minutes of tableaux vivants ("living pictures"), incredibly faithful re-creations of classical and contemporary works of art, with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces.
