Parade Route: Loyola Boulevard beginning at Westchester Park and travel north to Loyala Marymount University.
4th of July Parade starts in Westchester Park at 11 a.m. and follows along Loyola Blvd. to Loyola Marymount University. Parade includes floats, marching bands, and community service groups.
Founded in 2000, the parade celebrates small town ambience and home town values in the Playa & Westchester areas of coastal Los Angeles. It is spearheaded by the LA Coastal Chamber of Commerce, which was founded in 1953. The parade includes floats, kids groups, fancy cars with local dignitaries, bands and an abundance of red, white & blue decor. Look for a Statue of Liberty which often adorns a parade float entry.
250 Years of American Dreams, the 2026 parade theme is all about celebrating everything that makes Los Angeles amazing. Accepting 30 entries in the parade, participants are encouraged to get creative with possibilities including:
