4th of July Extravaganza at the Antelope Valley Fair & Event Center on July 4 brings FREE live entertainment and summer games and competitions hosted by the City of Lancaster.
Past contests have included a pie eating contest, watermelon eating contest, chalk art contest, hula hoop contest, dance party contest, and water balloon toss!
Plus arts & crafts and face painting, there's free fun for everyone! Of course, we'll close the night off with one of the biggest pyrotechnic displays.

Lancaster knows how to rock the 4th of July by starting with a bang - a block party to remember, followed less than a week later by the 4th of July Fireworks at the Fairgrounds. It's a great time to stick around and party down with vendors selling foods, beverages and merch.

The City of Palmdale is hosting a Fireworks Celebration at Palmdale Amphitheatre
Lucky Devils Band will kick off the evening, followed by an amazingly colorful fireworks show choreographed to a variety of music. A celebration of Independence Day and the Palmdale Amphitheater’s 21st Season, this visually spectacular event will surely delight attendees of all ages
A choreographed fireworks show follows the concert.
Age 12 and under are admitted free with a complimentary reserved ticket. An adult must accompany children.
Chairs not provided. Festival-style seating; bring a lawn chair or blanket. Food and snack vendors will be on-site. No outside food or beverages allowed. Beer and Wine will also be available for purchase from local vendors including Lucky Luke & Bravery Brewing, and Thief & Barrel Winery.
On site parking is very limited. Alternative transportation and rideshare is encouraged. Additional parking is available a 20 minute walk at The Highlands Christian Fellowship and Highland High School Park.
