The 2026 Novato 4th of July Parade theme, Semiquincentennial, is a celebration of the country's 250th anniversary as a nation. Entrants are encouraged to showcase the red, white, and blue spirit and demonstrate the patriotism that sparked the official formation of the United States of America in 1776.
Fourth of July Parade includes a patriotic procession with marching bands, classic cars, Irish pipers, horses, dance troupes, basset hounds, and assemblage of restored military. There's plenty of red, white & blue and Americana you'll definitely want to bring the kids to see.
Free, pre-Parade entertainment, starts at 9 a.m. & ends when the Parade begins. These are warm-up acts that get us all into a festive mood. If you arrive early you will enjoy many wonderful entertainers.
The parade, Novato's largest single-day annual event, typically attracts between 10,000 and 20,000 visitors.
