East Bay Vivarium Reptile Pet Show 2:30-3:10 p.m.
Show off a favorite pet! Bring it down to the famous 4th of July Pet Show. Prizes for Best Trick, Smallest Pet, Biggest Pet, Look Alike (owner & pet), Ugliest, Cutest and Most Patriotic. Lasts approx. 30 minutes

4th of July Car Show 
12 Noon-3 p.m.
Register your "jewel of a car" for the 4th of July Car Show by filling out the online application on the city website or call (510) 524-9283.

Family Games 3:30-4 p.m.
3-legged races, egg toss, sack races, hippity hop races and other surprises in the light-hearted games intended to entertain.

The city celebrates 4th of July annually on Independence Day. Green, Red, White and Blue Celebration at Memorial park with a zero-waste event, using compostable plates and utensils, and by recycling cans and paper goods, etc.
