Contest 5-6 p.m.

Trick-or-Treating on Solano: all merchants on Solano Avenue (in Albany and Berkeley) to pass out sugar-free candies. Help keep Solano clean by disposing  your candy wrappers properly - thanks! Halloween on Solano is a rain-or-shine event.  (Any performers will have the option of canceling in the event of poor weather.)  A wheelchair accessible portable toilet and hand-washing station, including a first aid kit are available.  Food served has included (not limited to) pizza slices (pepperoni and plain cheese slices); low-sugar  Hi-C drink; bottled water and popcorn with coconut oil (and a butter topping).

 ALBANY Halloween Carnival

Calling all ghosts and ghouls to the annual Halloween Carnival. Bring the whole family down to the Albany Community Center for games, activities, cookie decorating and prizes galore!  All kids leave with a prize! Activities include: Spooky Arts & Crafts, Creepy Cookie Decoration, Ghoulish Games, Paranormal Photo Booth.

Other exciting events include the free, annual concerts in the park in Albany, usually held in September.
