Grass Valley Parade at 11 a.m. begins on Broad Street with approx. 75 entries makes its way down the historic district downtown. Parade-goers are advised to bring lawn chairs and arrive early to find a good vantage point.
10 a.m. The Street Fair begins on North Pine Street
10 a.m. Nevada County Concert Band performs on Broad Street from the Alpha
Building Portico
11 a.m. The parade begins
12:30 p.m. Ophir Prison Band hour performance on Broad Street
1:30 p.m. The Street Fair ends
5-9 p.m. Whoop-it-Up Dancing in the Streets Evening Festival in downtown Grass
Valley on Mill Street
9:30 p.m. Fireworks Spectacular hosted by the City of Grass Valley at the Dorsey

City of Grass Valley hosts the fireworks show over the Dorsey interchange! Show begins approximately 9:30 on the Fourth of July.

routes 49 and 20, a one-hour drive
northeast of Sacramento. From the
capital city (60 miles), take eastbound
Interstate 80 to Auburn and Highway 49
north. From Marysville (35 miles) and
the north valley, take eastbound Highway
20. From Reno (80 miles), take westbound
I-80 and westbound Highway 20.
