Livestock and
cattle are one of California's major
industries, and if you
believe that life on the farm is boring,
you haven't been to a rodeo. The events
are held throughout California, and the
list below are merely the productions of
a single company. Often the rodeo will
include other festivities such as a
cattle drive, parade, or a county fair.
It's a different lifestyle that many
can't imagine, but when a city slicker
gets in a restaurant where they have the
mechanical bull ride, he or she can get
a taste of what it's like to be
challenged by the unexpected.

California. After a ranch accident in
1956 abruptly ended a promising career
as a rodeo contestant, Cotton purchased
the Flying U Rodeo Company. Below
