Middletown Days is held the 3rd full weekend in June, usually falling on Father's Day weekend. In 2023 celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Middletown Days and help raise money to build, develop and maintain the park for the people of Middletown.

2023 events

 Friday

• Team roping 6 p.m.

Saturday

• Middletown Days Parade 10 a.m. Route: Parade begins at Perry's Deli on Highway 29 at the south end of town, and goes north on Hwy. 29 to Young Street, ending at TriCounties Bank. The parade is affordable to enter and includes 30 categories of entry. Spectators delight in watching marching bands, equestrian units, floats, drill teams, community groups, classic cars and vehicles, farm equipment and classic pageantry.

• BBQ 12 p.m. at Bob Greenwade BBQ area
• Cornhole competition & Line Dancing 1 p.m.
• Junior, Senior Roundup 2 p.m. 
• Cutest Cowboy, Cowgirl 2:30 p.m.
• Mutton Bustin' 4 p.m.
• Dance Under the Stars 8 p.m. with  Breaker One 9, $10 person

Sunday

• Lioness Father's Day Breakfast 8-11 a.m. at Lion's Building
• Cowboy Church 9 a.m. at Obie Sanders Stage
• Cornhole Championship 11 a.m.
• Gymkhana 12 p.m. at MCPA Arena
• Bloody Mary Horseshoe Tournament 12 p.m. at Youth Football Horseshoe Pits
• Family Play Day 12 p.m. with Watermelon Eating Contest, 3 Legged Boot Races, Sack Race, Water Balloon Toss, Tug-o-War and Watergun Brigade $5 admission
• Hide Ride & Rescue Races at dusk at MCPA Arena

Festival includes Parade, Gymkhana, Cowboy Church, Junior Rodeos, Team Roping, Queen Contest, Chili Cook Off, Dolly Parton Look Alike Contest
