Auburn, Calif.--Held at Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn, the annual event is an exciting festival of beauty and brawn. Miss Auburn Wild West Stampede Queen is selected amidst the festivities.  Grab your hat and pull on your boots! The Wild West Stampede rodeo in Auburn, CA Wild West Stampede on celebrates 80+ years of cowboy culture, making it one of the oldest rodeos in California. Two days of PRCA Rodeo with Bull and Bronc Riding, Roping, Barrel Racing, Mutton Busting, Rodeo Dances, and shopping at the Cowboy Corral. So pull on your Wranglers, your Justin boots, and your Resistol hat, and help celebrate our Western heritage and the skills of the American Cowboy that are as useful today as they were 150 years ago.

The schedule is released approx. a month before the rodeo begins. There's a full week of community events that celebrated the rodeo--and most included cowboy themes. Several community dances, dinners and other such festivities lead up to the big rodeo weekend that offers the true spirit or a Western Rodeo.  auburnrodeo.com
