The Tehachapi Mountain Festival is usually held the third weekend in August. It features a parade, fun run, car show, carnival, rodeo, dance, bands, vendors and good times all around the town. As the biggest festival of the year the event offers things to see and do for all ages and interests. It includes: Arts and Crafts Show, Food, Live Entertainment, Mountain Festival Parade, Thunder on the Mountain Car Show, PRCA Rodeo and more.
