The 2026 fireworks will be shot from the top of the parking garage on Santa Clara St. with viewing throughout downtown including at Plaza Park. Tune into KBBY 95.1 FM to hear the musical simulcast.

Ventura Rotary's annual event at Ventura College will NOT be held in 2026 (but will be back in 2027.)

The Independence Day event regularly draws 30,000 residents and visitors.

• More than 300 artisans
• Six blocks of Main Street from Fir Street to Mission Park

Children and adults and their bicycles and little red wagons are invited to dress up. The parade assembles at Cemetery Park (Main & Crimea) at 9:30 a.m. and begins to parade down Main Street at 10 a.m. Dress up in your favorite patriotic attire. Admission to the event is free thanks to its presenter, the City of Ventura Department of Parks, Recreation
