TEA: How would you like to watch the honored tradition of a Japanese tea ceremony? Saratoga’s Hakone Tea Ceremony takes place the third Sunday of the month, April through November. Seatings are at Noon, 1 & 2 p.m. Admission is $6-8, plus $7 for optional tea.
PLACER COUNTY: Heritage Trail 2015 is planned for August 15 & 16. Tour 20 museums from Roseville to Tahoe. $10 gets you a seat and ride to approx. half the museums in a day.
MISSION LIFE: Mission La Purisima in Lompoc hosts Children’s Mission Life Day on July 25, 2015. Kids can step into the clothes and roles of mission youngsters who were tasked with baking, making soap, pottery, sewing, farming and blacksmithing. $6 car entry charged.
