A quaint Gold Rush town nestled in the foothills of the snow-capped Sierra mountains each year celebrates its amazing heritage with a Victorian Christmas. Chestnuts roasting, lamp-lit streets, carriage rides, yuletide treats and libations, and beloved Father Christmas all make this 35th annual event a special holiday treat for all ages–families invited. Be sure to catch the unique Donation Day Parade, as well.
Other Victorian-themed holiday events include the Great Dickens Fair at Cow Palace in San Francisco.
