Route: Parade starts at Neal and South Church Street, travels West Main Street and continues down Mill Street, finishing at Neal & Mill.

A delightful holiday community event now in its 141st year in 2025. The fundraising event invites local school children to march though the streets of Grass Valley. They don't just march, however! They are busy carrying donations of canned food.

Bagpipers and bands once added a festive air to this historical Grass Valley Ladies Relief Society sponsored event.

Ladies Relief Society started something big when they launched this effort to support local families in need. What began as a way to help miners' families has grown into a community celebration of compassion, connection, and the true spirit of giving.

City Hall accepts non-perishable food donations throughout December. If you are able, please consider dropping something off to help support local families this holiday season.
