This weekend when runners select their fastest shoes and prepare for blisters, there’s one positive thing they can count on–a view that makes you feel like flying. The Big Sur Marathon on April 26, 2015 covers some of California’s most scenic ground along mountain slopes and over famous bridges known for their vistas. They call it “running on the edge of the Western World”. The Boston Qualifier is a spectacular race course — possibly the most beautiful in California. Taiko drummers, musicians and crowds cheer on the runners on this course that can be foggy and breezy or warm and sunny. As of this posting online registration is now closed and all events are sold out except for the By the Bay 3K. Registration for the 3K will resume at the Expo on Friday, April 24, from noon to 6 PM and at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove on 3K race day (Saturday, April 25) at 6:30 a.m.
