WHEN DO THE ROADS TO YOSEMITE AND BODIE OPEN FOR SUMMER?

Of course there is access to Yosemite National Park on some roads–but not all of them during the winter months. This past winter there was much less snow than usual which means you can get to your favorite Sierra mountain destinations from most directions within days of this posting. Gee, it’s good to be ON THE ROAD AGAIN.  Thanks, Willie Nelson, for a the great travel song, and thanks, Mono County Tourism, for this update! The county boasts spectacular sports, camping, fishing, hiking in the Inyo National Forest and the cool ghost town of Bodie.
