Pet Obesity Epidemic

A report recently released by the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention (APOP), tells an alarming story about America and its weight problem. We’re in denial, overweight and oblivious to the plight of our overweight cats and dogs. Americans outweigh their canine and feline counterparts as percent of population, but pet owners of the 54% of overweight or obese cats & dogs simply don’t recognize or see that they’re killing their animals by over-feeding them, giving them fattening foods, and not enough exercise. The good news is that the problem is preventable and reversible!
