Virtual Reality Motorcycle Jump To Be Filmed off Huntington Beach Pier
A promo for the TV show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is being planned and executed this week in Huntington Beach, Calif. To make the Virtual Reality 3-D stunt a success a headless mannequin is placed on a specially-equipped motorcycle. The head of the headless figure is a customized camera—actually 12 cameras in circumference, with four more on top and four on the bottom. It’s a $750,000 stunt that has been more than 3 months in the planning. Once the video is finished spectators will wear virtual reality goggles and see exactly what’s it’s like to be on a motorcycle roaring off into the sky and into the Pacific Ocean. Read more…>
