PLAY On the Avenue
BURLINGAME, CALIF. — The annual art, music and entertainment festival, Burlingame on the Avenue, Aug. 20-21, 2016 (centered on Burlingame Avenue at California Drive,) is expecting sunshine and good times with nearly 20 musical acts and an expanded kids playland this year. Burlingame’s Chamber of Commerce downtown street event has gone by several names and themes throughout the years but the festival has always delivered fantastic shopping, lively entertainment, great food and beverages such as wine. Located just a short distance from San Francisco Airport, there are plenty of great hotels and restaurants to check out when you visit this San Mateo County favorite. Best of all, the festival is FREE! If Burlingame’s not your thing, there are other art festivals in California this weekend.
