On the 70th Anniversary of World War II’s end a 91-year-old former B-24 radioman/gunner shot down over Germany was recently saluted. On his 23rd bombing mission his plane was hit by the enemy over Germany and he had to jump out at 21,000 feet. Although he had never parachuted before, Robert D.
