Roll Out the Barrels SLO
Roll out the Barrels festival has begun in Central California and the dedicated mascot is guarding the barrels. Roll out the Barrels 25th anniversary celebration throughout the entire month of April and first weekend of May includes special events, wine deals and experience tours to get you out in the vineyard and inside the cellar to meet the makers behind the wine. Activities are centered around sustainability, farm to fork, barrel samples, etc. One of the festival highlights which we discovered just as it was closing down one year is the Barrels in the Mission Plaza on Thursday, April 30, 2015, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 and up– buy early at slowine.com! Another San Luis Obispo County wine event not to be missed is the annual Earth Day Food & Wine Celebration in Templeton on Apr. 18.
