Get Your Kicks on Route 66

Published on: August 26, 2018

The who’s who of the collector car world showed up for the premier Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance held the final weekend August 2018. Added international attention came from neighboring Monterey, where Bugatti unveiled a new $5.8 million Bugatti Divo supercar — and it’s already sold out. Only 40 will be made of this wide, low and sleek beauty featuring a massive 8-liter, 1,500-horsepower, 16-cylinder engine and topping out electronically at 236 mph.

While Route 66 never crossed paths with the Central Coast cities, the legendary Southern California cultural attraction, part of 2,448 miles of paved roads from Chicago to Los Angeles, has its own buzz this Fall with exciting festivals that will make you want to get out and take to the streets.
