Got Pills? Most of us do. Whether they’re vitamins, aspirin, pain relievers, allergy and cold remedies, meds to lower blood pressure, thin the blood, or treat chemical imbalances, there’s a lot that goes into getting those pills from the manufacturer to the consumer. The Don & June Salvatori California Pharmacy Museum in Sacramento has amazing exhibits and incredible docents who explain all that–just one of dozens of opportunities happening this weekend at Sacramento’s Museum Day on Feb. 7, 2015. Approx. 25 museums offer free admission and entertain you with cars, trains, agriculture, aerospace, history, culture and more. The 17th annual event is organized by Sacramento Association of Museums (SAM) and the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau. See: sacmuseums.org
