This past weekend the Irish flag was raised in front of San Francisco City Hall to mark the week long celebrations of being Irish in SF. On Sat. March 14, 2015 more than 5,000 participants from all over the states, will reel about with laughter and revelry during the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. More than 100 floats, Irish dance troupes and marching bands electrify Market Street and Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco for the 164th St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the city. The San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival includes the Market Street parade at 11:30 a.m. (route is 2nd and Market Streets to Civic Center) and Civic Center Festival 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
