Iguanas and Llamas are Blessed

It’s almost time for the biggest animal blessing event in the U.S., the Olvera Street Blessing of the Animals on April 4, 2015. This event is the who’s who of the animal world. You’ve never seen so many well groomed and behaved creatures ranging from chickens in cages to snakes, rats, cats, dogs and everything that’s legally a domestic pet in the state. Its origins date back to around 1930.
