Santa Barbara Stearns Wharf Celebrates 147 Years

The oldest, working wooden wharf in California which has survived storms, tornadoes, and fires, is billed as “Santa Barbara’s #1 Attraction!” Built in 1872 by John Peck Stearns for unloading of ship passengers and cargo to shore, Santa Barbara’s Stearns Wharf celebrates its birthday — during the month of October 2019 ask wharf merchants about anniversary specials.
