Published on: April 24, 2012

Happy National Park Week! With Earth Day and so many things going on, we nearly forgot about this fantastic time to save money. Many of California’s national parks charge between $10 and $20 to visit normally, but are free admission this week. You still have five days to take advantage of the free offer. Shown in photos above left to right are: Sequoia Kings Canyon NP; Yosemite NP famed Half Dome; Lassen Volcanic NP boiling Bumpass Hell.

  • National Park Week April 21 to 29
  • Get Outdoors Day June 9
  • National Public Lands Day September 29
  • Veterans Day weekend November 10 to 12
