Several of California’s favorite fairs happen in July. Among them are the big California State Fair in Sacramento, the OC Fair in Costa Mesa and the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles where it has been known to get freakin’ hot some years.
Other top contenders include Ventura County Fair (right next to the Pacific Ocean’s cool breeze,) Santa Barbara County Fair in beloved Santa Maria, Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock, Amador County Fair in Plymouth and Lassen County Fair in Susanville. How lucky we Californians are to enjoy so many great events in a single month!
