If you stick around this planet long enough, you get to see fashions recycle from when you were young. And if you kept all that stuff that became dated and out of style, you can sell it on Ebay or at a consignment shop now. Your old, used clothing is now vintage, and you are the hero for conserving and recycling–nice job!

With the popularity in vintage there’s plenty of opportunity. Shown in the photos from King Richard’s Antiques in Whittier is a teen who adores a Betty Page dress (bettiepageclothing.com). This retro-style clothing from the Las Vegas-based manufacturer starts at around $86. For vintage shopping, the are dozens of flea markets in California– here are some favorites. Vintage clothing stores can be found in nearly every city and town, as well.
