Sleep at the Beach

SANTA CRUZ Beach Boardwalk’s SUMMER OF FUN is heating up with the launch of the Spring Overnight where you can sleep at the beach on March 18, 2016. The event costs about $100 for rides, activities, arcade time, plus a sleepover in the Boardwalk’s Cocoanut Grove. See beachboardwalk.com

  • Kirk Creek Campground is an oceanside paradise with each site overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
  • Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park on Big Sur coastline features redwood and an 80-foot waterfall that drops from granite cliffs.
  • Leo Carrillo State Beach is 1.5 miles of beach for with tidepools, coastal caves and reefs for exploring.
  • San Onofre State Beach offers three miles of beautiful sand beaches, a surfer’s paradise.
