Take time to smell the Lavender at Festivals

The fragrant scent of lavender fills the air and is yours to enjoy at California lavender festivals! This weekend you’ll find festivals in Flinn Springs, Cherry Valley and Cache Creek in Rumsey. If you miss this weekend’s offerings, Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley returns next weekend, plus you can head for Lavender Open House at Sonoma Lavender Barn. More lavender festivals are planned for the weeks ahead.
This weekend another special flower event that’s an annual crowd-pleaser is Amador Flower Farms Daylily Days in Plymouth. If visiting the farm is good enough, then you’ll really dig the dirt and smell of fresh countryside at Durham’s Threshing Bee.
