Spring’s Arrival

How do Californians celebrate Spring’s arrival? In Newport Harbor they SUP (stand up paddle) with pets; on Mammoth Ski slopes they do some crazy stuff for a few laughs such as wear bikinis and sunbathe in the snow; on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills they shop and sight-see. Spring means many things to Californians. Like all Americans, there’s the looming deadline to do taxes by April 15. It may be the time to do spring cleaning. Or maybe your family will take a vacation on Spring Break. There are more outdoor festivals, concerts and beverage (beer & wine) events when spring comes. One of our favorite springtime food fests is the Strawberry Festival. This year the berries are bright red, huge and sweet.
