SANTA BARBARA, CALIF .– This weekend marks the Summer Solstice on June 21. Santa Barbara celebrates the special day for an entire weekend with a festival which includes an art-inspired parade and three days of music, art, food and events. The spectacular parade on Saturday, June, 21, 2014 is the highlight of the weekend for many who come from around the globe to see the incredible floats, costumes and creativity you won’t find anywhere else! There are many art festivals this weekend in California and a few solstice events, but there’s nothing like Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade, which marches along State Street entertaining an estimated 100,000 people.
