November is a special time of year in Lodi and Marysville (78 miles apart) as tourists flock to the region to enjoy California’s spectacular scenery, hospitality and accommodations. While some fly in on jets, the most honored guests simply fly to their destination, not needing reservations.
California Swan Festival November 13-15, 2015 in Marysville attracts human tourists who come to see swan migrations. Sandhill Crane Festival November 6-8, 2015 in Lodi also celebrates bird migrations. Surrounding the festival are free tours to the South and North units of the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve the first three weekends of each month from October through February.
