Taste of California Events
Have you tasted a “Taste of” ? They come in different sizes and flavors throughout California. Some call themselves Taste of California, but most are called Taste of …… (fill in the city name). Those who love eating out and drinking alcoholic beverages really relish these events featuring chefs serving samples of food from local restaurants. Usually the restaurants donate their food and staff to prepare and serve it, wineries donate wines, beer companies donate beer, and the non-profit organization that produces an event donates proceeds from ticket sales to some needy cause. It’s a win-win for all.
This weekend there are several really great Taste of events coinciding with the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, making them especially festive. Taste of Yountville and Taste of Solvang both take place on March 16, plus a few days more.
