If you like to taste the latest, greatest recipes from local restaurants, Taste Of is a sure bet in finding out what’s out there, what’s new, and what’s for you. Taste of events usually end in the name of the city or cause in which they are affiliated. If your city doesn’t have a Taste Of, it is not to difficult to get one started but once the event grows you’ll need plenty of volunteers to manage tasks such as vendor sign up, event location, city licenses, tickets sales, entertainment and promotions. The other option is to hire an event company such as Steven Restivo Event Services in the Bay Area.

Increasing in popularity because they are a win-win proposition, Taste Of events can raise money for causes, restaurants may increase business through the great exposure, and consumers have a nice time sampling food and beverages, knowing that the proceeds help an organization such as a school, library, nonprofit organization, etc. While Taste Of events can be operated as profit ventures, they usually are fundraisers that rely on the generous donations of restaurants, wineries and breweries.  Here’s a list of Taste Of events in California.
