California Theme Parks Celebrate Spring Break

Knott’s Berry Farm March 29-April 28, 2019 is where you’ll find the annual Knott’s Boysenberry Festival. You can also chomp on churros, chicken and other tasty treats. But Knott’s goes the extra step for this fest with entertainment such as Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree show.

It’s not too hard to figure out that Spring Break has already begun for many out-of-state visitors in California now. The license plates on cars traveling up & down Pacific Coast Highway tell it all. We’ve observed:

Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Colorado, New Jersey, Illinois, Kansas, Tennessee, Idaho, South Dakota and Georgia.

Here’s what’s happening this Spring Break at some of California’s hot theme park destinations:

Spring Break @ California Theme Parks

In Santa Cruz the Roaring Camp Railroads Beach Train begins weekends on April 6. Beach Boardwalk Spring Break March 30-April 7, 2019 includes Magic Shows, Photo Fun and specials on games and rides.

SeaWorld San Diego  Seven Seas Food Festival March 9-April 28, includes beer, wine and international flavors.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Spring Break April 12-28, 2019 in Vallejo features Spring Break Block Party in the Main Plaza with dancing, music, games and fun!

Universal Studios Hollywood is open daily throughout the year but has later closing hours April 6-21, 2019. In April there’s a special, ticketed Dark Arts event at Hogwarts Castle.

Gilroy Gardens opening day is March 17, 2019.

Legoland California Water Park opens on weekends beginning on March 16, 2019. In celebration of its 20th birthday, kids get in free on their birthday during 2019.

California’s Great America opening day March 23, 2019 in Santa Clara.
