Last year’s Guinness World Record at Chongqing International Kite Festival for longest kite, the 6,000-meter-long (3.72 miles) “Chinese Dream” that took two years to construct and three people working more than six hours to get airborn, was a sight you’re probably not going to see in California any time soon.
