US Navy Blue Angels Make 5 Stops in California This Year
Seeing the Blue Angels is a lifetime memory you don’t soon forget. The first time I saw them was in Chicago. It was a surreal moment when they came roaring above famous skyscrapers to wow the crowds with their feats of flight.
No matter where you see them, you won’t want to miss them (and millions don’t miss them each year.) In California we’re incredibly lucky to have the US Navy Blue Angels grace the skies in not one or two air shows, but four or five! The fact that California offers a winter home base for the crew means that there are additional opportunities for great views of Angels in the sky.
Blue Angels have around 29 air shows on their performance roster in 2020 with five shows in California, four in Florida and two in Texas. Other states where you can see them: North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Maine and Virginia.
In 2020, they return to several of their favorite, annual air shows in California but they also mix it up each year with some new air shows and destinations on their roster.
